Dr. Smitha is a Consultant High-Risk Obstetrician at Milann Hospitals, Kumara Park. Her areas of interest include recurrent pregnancy loss, endocrinology, and preventive women’s health. She has been handling IVF pregnancies for over a decade and has successfully managed surrogacy pregnancies as well.

She has authored a chapter in Elsevier Publication Critically Ill Pregnant Woman and serves as the treasurer at SMFMI. She is the founder of Yugen Bharath, a healthcare start-up, and part of the 200-member cohort of WSP 3 / IIM Bangalore.

Dr. Smitha strongly believes in transformational leadership and empathy for the future of Indian healthcare. She is pursuing a global health cath care leadership program at Harvard.

She completed her MBBS from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College (2004), DNB OBG from Sagar Hospital (2011), Fellow Fetomaternal Medicine (FFM) from RGUHS (2012) and MBA HHSM from BITS Pilani (2022).
